On January 30, the Orthodox Church commemorates the Three Holy Hierarchs, the Archpriests Basil the Great, Gregory the Theologian and John Chrysostom.

The prescribed readings for Vespers are Deuteronomy 1:8-11, 15-17; Deuteronomy 10:14-21 and Wisdom of Solomon 3:1-9.
